Sayward Futures Society, a non-profit organization, took over the divestiture of the old

Department of Transport wharf in March 2002. Since then, many renovations have taken

place to enhance the dilapidated storage shed that remained on it.

Today, that space is utilized as an office, Info Centre, Board Room, and Gift Shop.

the innovative ideas utilized to ensure continued revenue for maintenance and operation

of the “Port of Kelsey Bay” .
